He has always had a tremendous caseload and often grueling call schedule. Finding a person with whom your wavelength matches, and around whom you feel you can just be yourself, talk about anything, and not be worried about being judged, is not as easy as the romantic movies and TV soaps make it out to be. His hectic job aside, he is an amazing man, very loving and family oriented, which is what I have always wanted. Better to now what you're going into in a relationship with a doctor or would-be-doctor. And yes, some people are unbelievably stupid about it. You should certainly still date even if you are not looking for a marriage partner.
